Dialogkraft Europa is a growing non-profit organization founded in Frankfurt am Main in 2025 from a simple but urgent conviction: that dialogue, cultural cooperation, and civic engagement matter, especially in times of rupture. The initiative was launched by our chairman, Ewgenij Gepper, an artist and architect who has lived and worked in Germany for decades while remaining deeply connected to Ukraine.
Our organization brings together an international group of professionals from fields including art, architecture, human geography, cultural management, education, social work, logistics, and project development. We come from different disciplines, generations, migration histories, and cultural backgrounds, and this diversity shapes both our perspective and our practice.
Some of us left Ukraine nearly thirty years ago. Some fifteen. Some arrived only after 2022. Others are not originally from Ukraine at all, but come from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds and have joined this work because they understand the importance of this historical moment and share a commitment to defending democracy, freedom, and an open Europe.
What unites us is a belief in the power of dialogue and a commitment to democratic, plural, and connected societies. We see dialogue not simply as exchange, but as a practice of listening, learning, and building trust. It is the foundation of how we work.
Through cultural cooperation, knowledge exchange, and transnational partnerships, we develop initiatives that connect people and ideas across Germany, Ukraine, and wider Europe. Our work includes cultural and educational projects, public programs, collaborative research-based initiatives, and formats that make critical perspectives on Ukraine and Europe more accessible to broader audiences.
We work with a growing network of partner organizations and believe meaningful cooperation is built through reciprocity, long-term relationships, and shared responsibility. As a developing organization, we aim to contribute to an open, diverse, and resilient European society shaped not only by institutions, but by active civic connections.
Dialogkraft Europa is still young, but it is rooted in long experience, strong convictions, and a shared sense that cultural cooperation can help shape common futures.
